Even for something as fundamental as exercise, the experts are still fine-tuning their recommendations. And it’s more than just fine-tuning. They are saying that we should do more and more.
You won’t hear any suggestions for controlling your type 2 diabetes more often than to watch your diet and to do your exercises. But until now we haven’t had proof that exercise works.
We do now.
We keep reading about people who walk hundreds if not thousands of miles to promote a cure for diabetes. I’m not sure how that is going to work, although it will certainly help the health of the walker.
