Every person with type 1 diabetes would like to have only one insulin injection a day.
But in most cases that is practicable only for a very short time during the remission phase ('Honeymoon period').

One can understand that and perhaps even try it, but not at the expense of unsatisfactory
diabetes control.
If diabetes control with only one insulin injection a day proves unsatisfactory, you should consider changing immediately to two injections (after discussion of course with your doctor / diabetes specialist).
