Tantra Lake Sunset

Today’s Boulder newspaper had an article about how “Standing wave clouds create incendiary sunsets.” I remembered the article when I went out to pick up my mail about 4:30, and so I took my camera and tripod with me.

As I recover from my prostate operation I haven’t taken any photos for a week because exercise might tear open the incision. But I only have to walk about 100 slow steps to get to Tantra Lake, which forms a great foreground to sunset views.

Tonight’s most “incendiary sunset” came at 5:05:

Hi my name is Cathy I am type 2 diabetic and I too love nature photography. It is a passion of mine. I was drawn in because you have similar interests and are dealing with D2 also. Your pics are breathtaking. Just thought you should know they are appreciated.

    Dear Cathy,

I do appreciate your writing! You are just the type of person that I am writing for, because my goal with this “Fitness and Photography for Fun” blog is to encourage people with diabetes to get the exercise we all need.

    Thank you!
