		<description>I too am battling Bad Science almost daily. I even found a paper by an endocrinoloist, which advocates the benefits of a high carb diet for diabetes control and doesn&#039;t distinguish between digestible carbs and fibre. In Britian, under the National Curriculum, every 7 year old knows you must deal with ONLY one variable at a time.
 This doctor is treating patients according to his BAD Science paper and is the leading endocrinologist in the area. 
In addition, this paper is old: 1982 and was originally published in &quot;The Lancet&quot;</description>
